syncman
The control panel sets auto to 97deg. Setting higher temp it just reverts back. First 2 jet/speed settings, the pump seems to [hum], but no pumping! Motor is HOT.
danthespaman316
Could be seized or your capacitor could be shot. See if you can manually spin the shaft. If it turns freely, it's probably the capacitor. If it's seized, replace the entire pump. Good luck.
plumber802
There may be some debris in the pump housing preventing the impeller from spinning. You may have to remove the pump to get to these components. If no obstruction have the motor tested. syncman
Using a screwdriver in the slot at the rear of the motor shaft, both seem to turn equally smooth! Capacitor maybe?
