Activenets
I had to replace the 2-speed motor in my Jacuzzi (H136 board) model Z110/310 SPA. The shop moved the old cable with four wires running from the old motor to the control panel to the replacement motor. The motor now works fine. But instead of the heater coming on while the motor is running at low speed and running until the correct temperature is reached, it only comes on during high speed (while the jets run). Was the new motor wired wrong or is there a different issue? The heater was working fine on the low speed before replacing the motor. Please advise. Thank you! Jersey Hot Tub Repair
Sounds like bad water flow - either dirty filters or an obstruction in the lines. On low speed, it sounds like you're not getting enough force to activate the flow switch. On high speed, the extra power is activating it. Easiest test - remove the filters and see if the heater comes on at low speed. If it does, time for cleaning or new new filters. Just remember, just because they look clean doesn't mean they're not clogged with minerals or lotion. Dave
