danmolinski
I just bought a house and it came with a Dream Maker x500 spa. I've never owned a hot tub before, so I'm just learning. First question I have is regarding my topside control panel. It just seems to be sitting loosely in the cutout of the shell, with no seal whatsoever... I suspect this is not how it's supposed to be, but thought I should post on a forum somewhere to get some advice from more experienced owners. Should I set the control panel in place with a waterproof sealer?
wish2fish
I have a Dreammaker and mine control is attached firmly. I assume it is it just screwed into the roto molded plastic. Its to cold outside (~20) to pull the motor cover of and give it a check for you.
danmolinski
Thanks for the info. I actually contacted dreammaker spas directly and they confirmed the top panel should be sealed so that water does get on the electronic components inside.
