S-F
I'm in need of a new cover for my hot tub. The thing weights about a million pounds on one side and it's getting a bit ratty. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of places out there that sell them. My spa is small, about half size, if that makes any difference. I also live in a fairly cold climate. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Jersey Hot Tub Repair
I can recommend a great cover guy in Northern NJ, if that helps. If you're buying for a cold geographic region, I always recommend avoiding premium covers. Cold winters and hot summers combine to make the vinyl brittle and crack which ages the top surface. Then chlorine and bromine deteriorate the vapor barrier, allowing moisture into the bottom service, filling the cover with enough water to make it difficult to lift. If you can spend $300 and get 3 years out of it, or spend $800 and get 4 years out of it, the cheaper one makes more sense. At least, that's what my customers tell me. castletonia
I like Sunstar covers. Sold them for 16 years and had great luck with them.
S-F
Do either of you have recommendations on where I could pick up a cover? I live in Western MA but ordering online is preferable.
