arnspa
Our daughters have recent got a large 110 hot tub and installed solar at their house in Berkeley, CA. What sort of timer do they need to take optimum advantage of the PGE time of use billing?
Jersey Hot Tub Repair
Can't answer "what kind of timer" do they need, but I will tell you that a hot tub isn't designed to be used with a timer. Not knowing what they have, I can't guess how it works, but most hot tubs are programmable to allow you to control when the heat comes on. Cusser
Daughter or someone needs to find out the amp draw of this hot tub. Typical 120 volt circuits can handle 15 amps, so a simple 15-amp timer could work in that case. https://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-TN311-Indoor-Decorations-Grounded/dp/B005MMSTNG I use such timer for my standalone ice machine.
