JenM Posted October 11, 2017 Report Share Posted October 11, 2017 Hi, I just accidentally added filter cartridge cleaner (bayrol spatime) to my hot tub, instead of the intended shock treatment. Turned it on just now and got a mountain of froth. We are draining it now. Do you think there will be any problems - like damage to the tub or pipes? We have an ozone filter, and use bromine tablets. The cleaner was in there for maybe 15 minutes before we started draining it and the jets only ran for a minute or so.
