Richard_F96
Since a couple of years we are the owners of an Caldera Spa Martinique. Now since a year we always have a sticky waste right above the water line. It looks like a sticky line, which feels very elastic by removal. Today i gave the spa a double dosage of chloreshock and aqua finesse. The sticky waste feels a lot more soft right now and can be removed by using my dumb nail. I'm a bit scared about the coating. Is it, that the coating can be removed by the nail, or is this impossible? If so, how does the underground looks like/ feels then? Does anyone have suggestions to clean this up? Richard_F96
Did some research again and came out by calcium. This might be the cause of the scum lines being felt als a hard shell. Some people around the internet say it might be worth a try bringing the PH level down the 6 so the calcium will be absorbed by the water again. Is anyone familiar by this procedure? Is it possible to bring the waters PH level down by househeld products like bringing it up with baking soda, or do I need to buy some kind of liquid for it? I know it isn't the best way to level the PH hight but it might be worth a try because we are planning to drain the spa next week for a cleanup. I'm looking forward for your reactions!
