Cracker1397 Posted July 23, 2017 Report Share Posted July 23, 2017 When I am testing my calcium hardness with the Taylor test kit I seem to be having a problem. When I add start adding the drops that turn the water blue I notice there are little blobs floating around in the water. They are blueish purple in color and the water changes from red to a little bluish. It doesn't change anymore with more drops it just stays the same after that endpoint. I don't see the water change to a vivid blue color like it should. I tried adding 5-6 drops of the 3rd vial first like the instructions say but I still get the same result. I guess my question is..... is that supposed to happen? Does the water not turn into a strong blue color? I might not be very clear in this explanation so feel free to ask me any questions to clear this up. Thanks for your help in advance.
