Shut off breaker to clean tub, now GFCI won't reset

My tub was running fine. I shut it down for a good spring cleaning purging it with ahhsome. I cleaned the tub and filled it, now when I try to turn the GFCI on it trips after about one second. Does anyone have an idea why it would be fine yesterday and today not reset on startup.
