rollie
Hi everybody my Grandmother is 92 years old and she has been diagnosed with dementia. She is now in an assisted living home. She will be visiting us this weekend. She used to be a great swimmer when she was young. The problem is she told us last week that she wanted to swim when she visits us next time.Is it safe for her to swim. I don't like to make her unhappy and I was thinking of calling an instructor to make sure that she is alright while she swims. Is this a good idea?Any input on this would be great. Dr. Spa
This is NOT a medical forum and it should be discussed with HER doctor.
thelma55
I don't think if there is a problem if she is swimming under proper supervision. Get an instructor and she will be fine.
