cmarr6
Hi all, new to the forum and new to hot tubs. Recently got a used Tiger River Manora hot tub. Set it up and now, everytime I turn up the thermostat it trips the GFCI. Did a continuity test on the heating element and it showed good. But does this automatically rule that out or could the heater still be bad, even though it showed continuity? Or could it be the thermosistors. Is there a way to test them? Or what else could be wrong here? Everything else appears to work good.
Dan.The.Spa.Man
You need to check one of the heater leads to ground and see if you get a reading. If so the heater is bad. If it reads open its good.
cmarr6
Thanks for the info. I checked the lead and I didn't get a reading. So i can assume the heater is good and look at something else? Possibly thermistors?
