timcadieux
I managed to snag a used Zodiac Heat Pump this weekend. In looking to install it, we discovered some very specific municipal laws and in such, my heat pump needs to be 10feet from the pool. As such, I was thinking I could perhaps bury the in and out pipes for the pump, just because this is a high traffic area. I was thinking of just digging a trench an filling it with crush stone. I wouldn't bother putting soil over top as in fall i'd likely dig them back up for the winter. The pipes would likely be a few inches underground for about 5-6feet. I'm just wondering if this is a good idea and whether i'm looking at potential major heat loss or even damaged hoses? Thx in advance..
