Hail Resistant Spa Cover

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

It's been a while since I've visited this forum and hope someone here can help me. I live in Colorado Springs Colorado where we have thin air and lots of sunshine. We also get a lot of hail. Since getting my Marquis Spirit spa in early 2010 I've replaced 3 covers and now need a fourth. I had ordered a rhino cover from a company in Denver but they had some issues before they could deliver. Basically I need a cover that will stand up to high UV levels and pea size to nickel sized hail. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Tim

I live in Greeley Colorado and have basically the same problem.    Wondering if these will work.  http://www.americanfloormats.com/chair-mats-hard-surfaces/   Think I will order two of the 48x96 and try.  If they save one cover they paid for themselves.   Might try hinging them together with clear tape and just folding them with the cover if I can manage the little extra weight.

Unless something has changed within the last 6 months, SmarTop does not do customer covers so they would not be able to accommodate the curve on the front of the Spirit.  When I sold them, I was told unless someone wants to design the pattern and pay for the template, they only do variations of squares and rectangles with corner radius's up to 12".
