dededunn
Hi, My Hot Springs Sovereign was delivered to me with a 2 1/2" crack in the seat below the jets, the cover was missing, the cover cradle was missing, and there is a 10" x 14" piece of exterior siding missing just above the lower left corner of the "front" of the hot tub (the temperature gauge side). The moving company is telling me they will only pay $440.00 for the acrylic repair and are bullying me to settle. I sent pictures to Hot Springs and they think it is unrepairable, I forwarded the email from Hot Springs to the moving company and they don't give a darn. The person who gave them the $440.00 only guarantees the work for one year. I really don't want to have to revisit this again in a year. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks for your input. dededunn
Thanks Dr. Spa. This was a military/government PCS move. The moving company is required to repair/replace all items at full market value. (today's prices) I have very little confidence that the $440 repair will hold up after searching several blogs. The hot tub has had only 2 1/2 years of actual use.
Kate Ride
While my first move, I also faced the same problem, my furniture was damaged. It was very difficult to get some money from moving company. Afterwards I was more careful in searching for a moving company.

When I was planning my move, I spent enough time on searching for a trusted company. I should say it was worth the time. Finally, I found a perfect company, as it turned out. It’s the “removalists and storage sydney”. These guys are amazing. They arranged everything for me. I didn’t deal with packing and unpacking my stuff. This was the hardest thing for me to do. You couldn’t imagine my happiness, when I found out that they have professional removalist packing & un-packing service. I was also surprised that I found no single scratch when everything was done. Now I’m not afraid to move at all. LoL
