Mold And Slugs

I own a marque spirit 2 person hot tub approximately nine years old.

I ended up with the house and the hot tub in a divorce but not before my Ex.

let the hot tub sit covered with about 6" of water. The inside of the tub is now filled with

slugs and black mold I mean covered. Should I even try and save this tub?

I have missed my hot tub and can not afford a new one.

Ahh-Some will help to dislodge lots of material and then you can superchlorinate to disinfect the rest. It will take scooping and multiple water changes.

These things clean up great, with much less effort thatn you think. A little scrubbing, some ahh-some, and a few refills, it will look as good as new.

Thanks for your advise. I will have to study the product. As I said there are at least 30 huge slugs and the underneath of the cover and the walls of the tub are truly alive with black mold spoors.

I think I might need a hazmat suit to deal with this.
