Jets 1 And Circ Pump Will Not Run Simultaneously Causing Overheat Error

Please help. I have a spa crest hot tub. We have recently replaced the circ pump, and entire balboa box with circuit board and heating element etc. Circ pump is 24 hour continuous but kicks off when jets 1 is turned on causing dry and overheat error codes. The circ pump will continue to run simultaneously with jets 2. Im at the end of my troubleshooting skills. Any advice will be much appreciated!

It's likely a dip switch or jumper that's not in the correct position for your configuration. A new control box supports many different configurations of equipment, circ pump/no circ pump, one speed pump, two speed pump, no pump 2, etc etc. There are almost always either electronic configurations that are programmable,physical jumpers, or dip switches, that must be in the correct position for the equipment in your spa.

Thank you for your reply. I broke down and called a repairman yesterday. Turns out that is precisely what the problem was, the dip switch positions. Luckily we had our old box on hand so he could compare the two and it was an easy fix. I'm so glad it's finally fixed! Thank you.
