christiffa25
I've just fitted a New Aqualflow Flo Master 2 Speed pump and a whole new spa pack. (Was time to treat the old girl) Anyway the New pump seems to be very loud on normal speed. The Humming seems to be louder than the old one, which I thought was a little loud. To the point where I'm questioning if it's going to be bothering the neighbours. Are these pumps usually loud pumps? Any ideas what can help to make it not so loud? Or have I got maybe a faulty pump? I know it's a bit tricky to answer this one guys, but any info or advice would be great.
PreservedSwine
They're not loud pumps. Try lifting the pump off the base of the spa to ensure it's not cabinet vibration.
SpaSage
You can get a pump mounting pad to help reduce vibration. If the pump didn't come with one, you can purchase them online for around $5.00.
christiffa25
Ok cheers guys, will have a look. It is really loud, not so on fast speed just when its on low speed. I can make it a bit quieter when lodging bits of wood under various bits around the outside of cabinet. So it must be due to the cabinet if you guys say that's normally a quiet pump.
