pianogirl
I just purchased a 28' round Sharkline Matrix pool. I want to bury it in ground. Yes I know this voids any warranty but I did this with my last pool and was very happy with it. Used it for at least 10 years before we moved with no problems. This time I would love to do it again but have a concrete decking instead of wood. I have seen many photos of this being done with regular above ground pools but I have no idea what they backfilled with in order to make sure it was compacted well enough to support concrete. I would so appreciate any help or ideas from someone who has done this or knows what materials should be used. Thanks so much.
Apollo217
Why not get a pool that is made to be sunk in the ground like a radiant pool or I believe wilbar makes one? You can backfill with the soil that come out of the ground or get pea stone.
