trenary6062
I have recently moved into a new house and the previous owners left their 2003 Dynasty Excalibur hot tub. For the first few months, it worked great. However, something happened and fried the control pack. I contacted the store where the tub was purchased and they sent out a repair guy that said the pack would cost around $900 in parts and $200 in labor. He said the tub was in great condition for as old as it is. In fact, he said if I wasn't going to fix it, he would come and get it for himself. Is there a way that I can fix this myself much cheaper? I see online there are control packs that are much cheaper but different brand. Can you change brands? I am also a bit hesitant to put that money into the tub because I am not sure why it fried in the first place. Any insight would be great.
