robquick
Bit of a strange question however, with the knowledge on this forum I thought it was worth a try ! I've got bad moss on my Tarmacadam driveway. Due to the fact that bleach is used in pools/tubs to keep algae at bay could it be used on my drive? If so, what concentration would you suggest when using 10% bleach in a ten litre watering can ? Many thanks.
waterbear
plain laundry bleach should be strong enough but you can use the stronger bleach if you like. these days there is not much difference as most laundry bleaches are now 8.25%. I would not use a tin watering can. Use a plastic one.

waterbear
If it were me I would start with a 50/50 mix, wet the moss, let it sit for a bit but not dry out and then scrub with a brush. If it does nothing increase the strength of the mix. Even full strength will not hurt your driveway which, in the U.S. we call 'asphalt" (but not the same asphalt you use in the U.K. as a house flooring). It might take a few treatments to kill it off and it will most likely reappear over time so you will have to do it again It's easier if you do it when you first notice it coming back. I do the same thing on my concrete driveway here in Florida.
