TheWhiteners
We just went into contract on a house with a pool in the Bay Area of California. Although I grew up with a house with a pool, neither of us have had a house with a pool as adults. The previous homeowners received a quote to repair the pool for $9,000, but I am waiting to hear what exactly is included in that quote. We are on water restrictions right now and are unable to empty and fill our pool until after October 31st. Will it hurt to wait until them to repair the plaster? Should we start doing anything before that to clean/prepare? Is it worth looking into an underwater patch repair and if so, how long do those typically last? Any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated as we just don't have any idea where to start and the information that we've found online hasn't been terribly consistent...
