Installing A New Heater

Recommended Posts

If you get the same heater, that makes swapping out a bit easier. The water connections should be close if not right on. Same with the gas, and electric.

Most heaters are designed to have the water connection on either side. So if you header had been "flopped", that just made the install a bit more challenging.

The cost of having a guy to come out and look at why the blower won't come on will be far less than a new heater.

Unless you want to buy a new heater...

I installed my own heater. I think it helps you figure out problems in the future if you really know your heater.......and yes, you will have problems in the future.

If and when you decide which heater to get, go online to that manufacturer, and download the installation/owners manual to get hookup dimensions.
