dsmobla
Hi, I just tried starting up my pool heater and the code FL0 comes up. According to the manual a good cause is dirty pool water. My pool water is okay so I don't think this is a cause. There is some mention of the pressure switch. I took a look at it and it is a little discoloured. My question is should there be water coming out of the siphon tube when I disconnect it from the pressure switch? There is not. Thanks, Dave
PoolGuyNJ
Water would come out if the pump was on. Air would go in if the pump was off. Scott
dsmobla
Hi Scott, The pump was on and there was no sign of water exiting the tube. That would explain the error code. But why is there no water coming out while the pump is running? What should I check? Thanks, Dave
Bugman1400
Do you have a bypass around the heater? Got a picture of your system?
dsmobla
No bypass is installed. I will try to take a picture later.
PoolGuyNJ
Sounds like a corrosion issue in the tube. The water comes from the manifold's return side, IIRC. IT will need either reaming or replacing. Check the pool water for copper too. Scott
dsmobla
Hi, I wanted to let everyone know it was the water line. It was blocked at the beginning of the run to the pressure switch.
