llw1064 Posted March 23, 2012 Report Posted March 23, 2012 I'm new to this forum and tried to find help on this topic but did not find what I need. Our 10 - 12 yr old pool was just recently remodeled (new coping, tile and was replastered with "tite white"). They replastered it on March 2nd. It's an 11,000 gal pool and took about 16 hrs to fill with 2 hoses and the weather was in the low 70's at the time. We found 2 areas of concern. One is an acutal crack (13 in long) in the pool that starts 2 inches below the tile line, has a "hook" on it which goes toward the pool. There is visible calcium deposits bubbling from it. Then we found a large discolored patch on the seating area of our raised spa. I'm asking the company to replaster it completely, they only offered to put band-aids over it. Am I being reasonable enough? Any suggestions? We spent 8,000 on the entire pool remodel. I'm not a happy camper. Thanks for your input. Quote
