Check Valve Replacement

Hi all! I need to replace a check valve on my system. It looked as though my system had a removable valve but upon inspection everything is glued on tight. I've included a picture to show you the setup and check valve. Anyone have any advice on where to cut for the new install. Because of the 90 degree joint, I don't have enough length to use a coupling and glue the new one in. Any help is appreciated!

Here is a link to the picture I took of it...http://www.flickr.com/photos/60043719@N05/6785091283/

A 2" fitting fits on the outside of the valve port. Just cut the 1.5" fitting flush at the valve port and at the bottom of the existing check valve. Glue a 2" socket 90 (Schedule 40 only) as needed.

Note: If this is for a raised spa, lower the water in it first!
