Lonnie
I called the utility companies out to mark my yard, so I can get an idea of what I'm working with. the power line runs right where I'm wanting to put the pool. I have called the power company to see if there is any options and they are going to send out an engineer to talk about moving it, Has anyone had to do this or know what this might cost? The new drop would be probably 100 feet or so.
txpoolguy
I can't shed any light on cost, but this is a very common practice as many power lines, phone lines, gas lines, sewer lines, etc. run thru the middle of the yard. The power co. will have to give you direction on cost, etc. as it varies by region/province/state.
Lonnie
I just had it moved last week. It was a little pricey 15.00 per foot to dig plus wire plus installation plus connectors to get connect to the old lines. Ended up being $1,700 and my yard is only 72' x 72' probably ended up being right at 120' total new line.
