mag357
What do you do when the Alk in a bit low? Every thing else looks ok. The free chlorine is very high so I turn the salt system down to 10%. Any help on this?

mag357
What are all of your readings? I don't have one of those testing equipment I usually take the water at a pool supply place and have it tested. What I used in this instant was the test strip. It just said the free chlorine was high, the Alk was very low the ph was border line.
quantumchromodynamics
You can't manage your water using test strips. You need accurate readings for the following to decide what to do: Free Chlorine Combined Chlorine pH Total Alkalinity Calcium Hardness Cyanuric acid. Salt Borate Water temperature CSI If your chlorine is too high, you need to turn your chlorinator off.

quantumchromodynamics
I highly recommend that you get your own test kit.
