Guest steve w Posted September 24, 2005 Report Share Posted September 24, 2005 I have a cupronical heat exchanger on my heat pump and it has started to leak after just 18 months.My neighbour has the same heater which is 5 years old and is still running ok.We both use the same pool company to maintain our pools,the only difference i can find is that his heater has a earth bond (a copper ground rod) connected to his heater and i dont.Can this be the problem ?
