confusedbuyer
I bought start up kit from walmart has PH stable, and bromating granules, the granules say sodiumdichloro-s-triazinetrione 82.5% , sodium Bromide 14.7 I am wondering is these granules what everyone is talking about spa shock???? I did not add the PH stailizer because it showed my PH was just above soft, that is what their test strips showed. However after 1 1/2 weeks water is a little smelly, I have been adding 2tsp of granules about every other day. 4 tsp when my daughter and her children come over. I add granules after we use spa. I have a 400 gallon spa. I just dont know if these granules are shock? They say they are sanitizer.
hottubdan
It is a sanitizer. You should be able to use it as shock also. There should be instructions on the bottle how to use it daily and weekly. The weekly dose would be the shcok.
