I am a north fllorida resident and must replace a Raypak 150,000 BTU propane gas spa heater after five years + of reasonable service. The interior metal structure corroded away collapsing the burner assembly, which was corroded badly anyway, and no repair is possible. The unit is above ground and outside in the elements with some roof protection. I could afford and use up to a 250,000 BTU propane gas heater. I am looking at new units with electronic ignition to eleminate the pilot light problem and desire a more durable interior and exterior. A low price is not the primary goal. I would appreciate any recommendations as to manufacturer, make and model, based on actual experience, past or present. In other words, what would you get if you were in my spot. Any replies would be appreciated.
