It is almost looks like litte strings of cotton floating around. Some have said it was earth others a fungus.... ????? Does anyone have a clue or could direct me to someone who would ? I greatly appreciate it !!
Guest debbie
I had noticed the same thing in mine several times and vacumed it up, i don't have any idea, i also get these like puddles of sand all around the bottom of my pool if it hasnt been used for a day or two, but the seem to dissolve if you push water over it and vacumes up easily, weird, c'mon some body must know. Guest hottub.pool_boy
first one sounds like white water mold- if it looks like wet tissue paper. balance pool and shock the living daylights out of it. the second post, if it's yellow and wushes away easily- could be mustard algae. same treatment as above, but you must throw in all floaties, pool hoses, vacuums, etc. they all need to be treated with the pool.
