Ipool By Fitmax

hi everybody -

you all seem very knowledgeable, so i thought i'd take a chance and post.

does anyone have any opinion of this, the iPool. it is basically a VERRRRY affordable exercise pool where the swimmer is held in place by a belt instead of swimming against a current (a la endless pool).

i am sure it is one of those situations where, you get what you pay for, but right now there is NO WAY i can afford any of the other exercise pools on the market (swim spas, current pools, etc.).

my plan - i live in zone 7 - would be to put the pool in my garage as we head into autumn/winter..then bring outside when it warms back up.

The only big catch for me is that the heater that comes with the pool is a RayPack spa heater which is a 240V unit. I would have to have an electrician out to rewire my garage, and later my outdoor space, in order to plug it in. again, i'd be buying this unit because of affordability - i have had some bad/unreliable electrician experiences around here and bet it would be at least another couple hundred bucks to have a 220-240V outlet put in.

if there was a reliable spa heater that's affordable, and plugs into a 110V outlet i'd be buying this sucker ASAP. does such a thing exist?

again, i am aware it won't be as "nice" as some other units. for <1000k for the pool, and around 1500 for pool with spa heater I am willing to take the risk.

thanks for any pointers or opinions :) guess i slipped a couple questions in there :)

We also have a ipool3 around 3 years now in Northern California.

So far we are on the 3rd pool covers (one standard, 2 deluxe covers & price hiked).

The ipool covers do not fit the pool ladder. When it rains, dirty cover water drains into the pool. Plastic sheets? Garbage bags? Any suggestions?

We have the Excel tankless gas heater, 6.6GPM. (before price hiked). Average around 10 degrees F increase per hour from around 60F to 85F. Both pump & heater controlled by Gosund switch remote controllers. Seek WiFi remote temperature sensor (Inkbird leaked rusted kaputt, now Bluetooth BLE-YC01 hate daily pairing). Suggestions welcome.
