ncclev
I have used the Basquespa (spelling unsure) and have always had an coughing effervescent mist when the jets are turned on. For those of you from Michigan its like drinking the first sips of a Vernor's Ginger Ale. It makes you cough terrible. I have tried using more shock as suggested by the dealer but it still doesn't help much. Any suggestions????? Switching soon to chlorine. Bromine is more effective in higher water temps. Either way you will need to drain the tub and change the filter. Baquaspa is NOT compatible with chorine, bromine or anything else. Baquaspa leaves a slimy film and isn't what it is cracked up to be.
Sirandar
Probably because your TA and hardness is too high. Switching to bromine will not fix this and IMO will make it worse.
