I am buying a new masterspa lsx825 with a tv and stereo for $11000. Is it too much to pay? Is it a good hot tub? Will the tv be a problem. I live in Michigan and it will be outside in the winter. Will that be a problem?

Scott-

Have you looked at an Arctic Spa? As these spas are built for a cold weather climate, and have construction that will allow your spa to last along with being very energy efficient. Please stop by my store in Novi as I opened 6 months ago. However I've been in business for over 10 years.

If you purchase an Arctic Spa and you would like a TV. I will go to Best Buy and purchase a TV that you can take anywhere (and not attached to your therapeutic spa). A TV is going to break at some point, especially if it exposed to cold, hot, cold, hot weather and water

.

Thanks for the opportunity to earn your business.

Scott,

Your TV comment caught my eye. I have heard that some spas severely limit the warrenty on the tv (cannot be used for an extended period of time etc). Have you taken a look at the warrenty and how it applies to the TV? I'd be interested in knowing what it says.

.

I have also heard (3rd hand) that the screen will/can steam up.

How are you planning on hooking it up? I assume the tv is cable ready? I wonder how Sattilie subscibers do this, as they typically need an addional box.

Sorry I don't have answers, just more questions....

good luck.

Having seen this spa, I can tell you that:

1. Cable, satellite, dvd ready

2. Has a one year warranty (Its marine grade)

3. Has never steamed up on my friends spa here in NE Ohio

Dont know about the price, but know the spa is very comfortable.

I may be lynched by our factory but I feel that the money for the T.V option can be spent elsewhere as there are many options out thee for flatscreen t.v's $300 gives you 17" flatscreen with some creative surroundings and mounting it can work far better than the t.v being mounted in the spa! I have worked with these products as I was lucky enough to help design a very well known t.v wall sold in Phoenix and now across the coutry! We even added a dvd player and external speakers to the t.v wall. Very efficient!

Real, The wall I was speaking about is not in a Phoenix Spa it was rather in the city of Phoenix sorry that was not clear! ,Ironnically Ii have sold Phoenix spas for a short time it was taking 6 to 8 weeks to get parts and we weren't getting paid for repairs so the relationship was terminated very quickly!

can you have your friend reply to the message on the forum about the tv and the it's useability.

Any money for a Masterspa is too much. Mine is only 6 years old and has had a motor replaced, approximately 25 jet heads replaces and it has had leaks repaired by the authorized repair man for the company were it was purchased who said that the leaks were caused by over tightening during construction. It got to the point that I would call the repairman on his cell and give him a list of what was needed on a monthly basic. When the circuit board went bad, I called Masterspa and asked about replacement because the repairman said he didn't have any of the boards and wasn't sure when they would be getting them. Masterspa said they were waiting on them from the manufacture. I called the manufacture inquiring about the boards and was told several had been shipped to Masterspa within the last month. I feel that Masterspa was building new spas requiring the boards and not to concerned about replacing the bad board since I had already pay for this spa. I recalled Masterspa and after telling their representative what the manufacture had said I was informed that they would be shipping one to the dealer within two days. The repairman, after replacing the board, said he was surprised when the board arrived because he was told it would be several weeks before they would get any. He said he needed several, but only one was shipped, mine. Also Masterspa was connected to the Consumer Trust Law Suit concerning rebates that failed to materalize.

Master is at the bottom of my list but at the same time, when a part is in short supply it is first come first served. Master could very well have had a long list of customers waiting so even though some were coming from their suppliers you were too far down on the list to get one of those so they could have been truthful to you in the first place but then figured what the heck since you were playing Sherlock Holmes (part of me wants to pile on because its Master but in theory this could have been the case).

I think you might be a little late, Scott posted that 3 years ago.

Maybe you can assist DADAHO1 who posted about Master yesterday since you obviously want to be helpful relative to Master questions/issues and not too many Master spa pros post here.
