JUST BOUGHT JANDY HEATER STARTED TO INSTALL GAS LINE.GAS VALVE HAS STREET ELL 3/4 INCH INSTALLED AT FACTORY.CABNIT HAS ABOUT A 3 INCH HOLE WITH A NICE RUBBER GROMMET THAT YOU INSERT 3/4 NIPPLE THROUGH.MT PROBLEM ISTHE ALINEMENT WITH HOLE AND STREET ELL IS OFF BY ABOUT 1 INCH. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE NIPPLE THREADED INTO THE STREET ELL IS TO REMOME THE GROMMET!WHICH I THINK THIS IS A CHESSEY WAY TO INSTALL.I DONT THINK THEIRS NO WAY TO MOVE THE GAS VALVE UP OR DOWN.HAS ANY ONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM??????WHAT SHOULD I DO. I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD BRING THIS NIPPLE RIGHT TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE CABNIT.ANY IDEAS

unless you wanna get a flexable piece of gas line inbetween, i'd just remove the grommet..if you want to seal up the hole, do it after the gas line is hooked up...you could easily put silcone around any gap thats left..

sometimes you gotta rig an install due to things like this...i really dont think it will hurt it to have a little gap there...it sure wont cause the flame to get blown out...
