I've read that WD-40 will remove dried Silly String. Will it harm the vinyl cover?

Charles

Don't use oil based products on your cover, use 303 Spray or saddle soap to get it off.

I tried 303 and it did not work. Silly String is like hard tar when it is baked on.

I would try laying a pice of ice on it for a couple minutes and then see if it will peel/chip off.

I would first start by grabing the person by the ear and pulling hard until they see were they went wrong.

OK with that out of the way try cooking oil or a spray oi like pam.

WD-40 should also work.

I think when your done you will may still have some stains on the cover.

Good luck

Thanks for the help. If I pulled my kids ears every time they did something wrong they'd look like rabbits.
