David B. Posted April 7, 2008 Report Share Posted April 7, 2008 We are having an in-ground installed with a gas heater. The heater is about 50' away from the incoming gas supply (straight shot). We are in PA. I got an estimate of $1900! I have done lots of plumbing including running gas lines. I priced the materials ($95). Cost of renting a ditch machine: $75. I cannot see paying someone $1900 for this job. Ideas & Recommendations please... Has anyone run their own gas supply for their pool heater?
