porkweez Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 We've enjoyed using our new Caldera Martinique since Monday. As a new owner, new questions are popping up. I understand that the filter takes care of filtering water before it goes through the pumping & ozonating system. However, I have 3 'drains' in the foootwell that constantly have suction. How is that water being filtered, or does it magically get sucked through the filter somehow? In the Caldera diagram, it doesn't even show circulation from those 3 footwell drains, but I can tell they're working. Quote

One pump will draws water through 2 of those suction covers (it is not tied into the filter at all) while the other pump draws water from the 3rd suction cover and the filter (it will filter part of it's water). The circ pump will obviously draw water completely through the filter. Quote

Thanks! Quote
