DGmarie
We have finally set foot into the spa. It is set to 98 degrees so all could enjoy (including small children who loved it). The water chemistry registers perfect for everything (bromine, pH, alk) but a little hard (maybe 300 on the hardness color strip). The water feels very different from our water softned tub water and we'd like that silkier feel. Is there something i can put in? The water isn't drying our skin out or anything, just feels kind of dry to the touch.

HydroMan
You can try some spa fragrances that have moisturizer in them. There is also something called just soft made by insparation that is the same thing but without scent.

DGmarie
I ended up trying Spa Silken and won't do that again. First it raised my pH through the roof and I ended up spending more money to lower it back, and play games with the Total Alk. Then my tub got foamy (not ridiculously foamy, just more than before.) I will leave things be next time.
