  1. I have a new to me softub model PT-1503B smaller 2-4 person model hotub, It took about 36 hours and heated up great, air works great. no leaks ect. 4 days into oporation I noticed the motor turned of by itself and the GFI was needed reset on the plug that came with the unit. I Thought nothing about it, hit reset and it worked for 2-3 more days. Then again it switched off by itself i just happen to notice it was not on. The problem now is every time i turn on the motor to heat the tub it trips the GFI, This is where it gets weird. If I turn on the blower to the air bubbbles it works just fine If i turn on the blower to the air then the heater it the unit stays on untl i turn off the air then the motor trips the GFI, If i turn the motor on with barely no water in the unit the motor stays on fine. If I turn on the motor to heat the water and there is full water motor will turn on for 1 second maybe and trips the GFI, All the buttons work, I put overheater water in the unit to see if the over heating element works and it does the light all flash and once it cooled reset and was good to go. However same problem persist. You turn on the motor to heat alone GFI trips. Im not sure how to troubleshoot this or figure out what to do. It all works the motor spins water comes through, no problem when the air pump is on, what do i do ?

  5. Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum but I wanted to let people know about I'm selling a new Softub 300+ in green color with tons of tons of cool accessories for a fast sell price since I have to pay for my mom's funeral ( I'm spending all my money on her ). I have a lot of pics/vids( showing it running perfect ) Pics and vids of the 300+ for sale: https://goo.gl/photos/Lp11DrhE14hQhDWj6 The Softub 300+ I bought before my mom passed away for around $5k plus shipping fee's. I've only used it for a month when I bought it, since then it's been covered. I'm only asking $1k to the first person ( I have no idea how much shipping costs, funerals are a lot of work so I'm open to work out a deal for shipping ) so I can have funds for the funeral which is asap. If interested and have any questions or concerns, please contact me sooner than later since it will sell right away for this unusual low price and I'm on a time crunch for funds for the funeral. 6. We are having a Softub 300 delivered this week. I have a question about the electrical part of this. I know we can plug this into a regular outlet, we have one that is on the wall outside the house. The receptacle on the house has a metal cover, but is not weatherproof while in use. So I know we'll need to replace that, but I was looking at the softub cords have the thick GCFI circuit box on the end, how on earth do you protect that box from the weather?? Or do I not need to??
  7. I'm a new poster here, so apologies if this has been covered before. I couldn't find this specific question when I searched. I have a used, older 300 model softub (probably 3-4 years old). I am trying to set it on energy saver mode. I followed the directions on a downloaded owner's manual (hold down the "light" and ^ button) and it successfully flashes "24" on the digital display. I figure, I should be all set, right? But it continues to heat to temp all day. At first, I thought it was just filtering, but the "heat" light is definitely on, and it does it throughout the day, not just once as the manual says it will. Anyone have any advice? Our electricity bill is through the roof.
