  1. Hey, so I have a barely 2 month old Coleman Saluspa. It's the pretty common one that holds about 1000 L and has the external pod that holds the panel and mechanical like heater and pump, attaches via three screw down connections. I know different models will have different volumes, but I used to have an mspa, and it didn't even come close to the level of noise from regular everyday operation with the heat and filter pump running. I'm talking about lid closed, correct water level, no plugs or blocked pipes, aka everything seems fine. Right out of the box from the first time it was on, it has been noticeably loud. Enough that my neighbour complained to me asking me to turn it around because she could hear it. I've taken decibel reading near the unit and average between 53-57dB constantly. I've also found something about a similar unit and a noisy pump suggesting to disconnect it and blow the hose through the outlet for a while as a potential resolution, but no change after trying this. It's possible this is normal, but I wanted to check and see what others think. I've included a link to the audio recording I took of the tub running. My main concern isn't that the noise is too much so much as I don't want to have a busted $700 tub that needs expensive repairs shortly after use just because I ignored a sign. A major problem is that somehow the receipt disappeared, so the place of purchase is iffy about any kind of exchange or warranty, and the manufacturer won't even consider it without the original receipt. 2. Hello everyone, I have a question and I hope I will get some help. I have a used PDC SPA hot tub , I have got from a family member. it is working fine and it is old with pneumatic push button control. it has two jets the filtration pump which runs continuously all the time is a full size jet pump similar to the second one. the other jet pump run either manually through the push button or through the timer. most probably I will upgrade the control system. here is the question Can I replace the full size jet pump that runs all the time with a tiny small pump that has no noise and save energy like the ones at the new SPA models? or the size of the pipes and the mechanical configuration will not work and must be a full size jet pump like the current one. Thank you appreciate your help and support.
  3. Hi, I just replace my pool pump motor, I got a marathon electric motor, it is wired for 220 and when I turn it on, it starts making a noise like a click that is on and off. The diagram on the motor says that there is a voltage selector but I have not been able to find it I can send pictures and video if that will help.
  4. Hi. I have been the happy owner of a Jandy AE-TI heat pump for our outdoor pool for the last six years. Now the electric motor that powers the fan is beginning to make a slight metallic noise in addition to the normal hum. It still works perfectly but I am worried that the bearings are beginning to deteriorate. Do I wait until it fails or should I take steps to source a replacement motor? Any suggestions would be welcome, particularly about the replacement motor. I'm located Southern Europe. Thanks in advance.
  5. I have a Hayward booster pump that stopped working. It was making a real loud noise for about a week while the outside temp was about 20 degrees out. Now when I turn it on it just makes a soft buzz and then clicks off. Any ideas or is it locked up and I probably need a new pump?
