  1. Hello, I recently bought a 2009 Marquis Epic spas (with circuit board: s/n 54278-04x, Marquise MQ2KU EL2 M3). I'm having trouble with my heater and need to troubleshoot my connections and dip switch settings but I'm missing the control system wiring diagram from the control box lid & so far I can't find this online anywhere. If anyone can share a picture or .pdf etc. of the system wiring diagram for a 2009 Balboa Marquis Epic spa it would help me out greatly. If everything is set correctly, I'll probably need a new heater, sensors, &/or a new circuit board, but want to take it one step at a time. I'll attach pics showing the circuit board info., chip, and current dip settings in case it helps. Thank you, -Kenneth
  2. Greetings, All. We bought our Marquis Epic on 10/12 and love it. Filled it with our well-water (which is high-alkaline), shocked it with their recommended start-up shock, are using the @Ease Frog In-line Smart-Chlor system (in tandem with their Mineral cartridge) and feel like it is doing a good job of keeping things clean. As directed, I've tested the water regularly and it has shown to be high Alkalinity and sometimes higher Ph. We've used their Alkalinity Lowerer balancer (1/4 cup) and....the water is cloudy. How often can I attempt to reduce the alkalinity with that chemical? How long does it take to show results? The chlorine leves, by the way, are perfect. Or....must I empty it all, refill, and start from scratch? I've been assuring my wife the water is clean, but wish it weren't cloudy!! Any/all advice is appreciated but know that I truly prefer the Smart-Chlor/lower chlorine alternative to bromine....I'm believing this is a water/alkanity problem. Thank you!
  3. Hello Spa Experts, I have narrowed my search down to two Marquis Spas but the dealer was unable to answer my questions to my satisfaction (he just didn't know). The Epic holds 450 gallon of water and has 5 seats. The Reward is slightly smaller in size, hold 100 less gallons (350) and has 6 seats. Both have on lounger, and 3 Hot Zones. Unless the Reward is designed for 6 small people and the Epic 5 large people I don't understand the logic. Second, with the pumps the same size, and the reward has considerably less water.... can I hope to have more jet power? Lower operating costs? Fewer filter changes? Cleaner water? And has anyone used the Microsilk feature, and is it beneficial?
