  1. We have 2 year old hot tub that needs a new cover. It's a Destiny River (made by Viking). Didn't realize until today that there was a problem! Went to open the top, and very water logged - little "pieces" of the black stuff deteriorating and falling off into the water. Worse? One of the lift arms broke as I was trying to open it (due to being too heavy/water logged). So...called my local dealer - they advised 3-4 weeks to get one ordered. Started looking online and saw several companies that sell direct - but no idea if reputable or not so thought I'd post here to inquire about experiences purchasing new covers. Any one company stand out? Thanks!
  2. I searched the forums to ensure that I did not duplicate an existing thread, so I hope I am not (at least not overlooking good feedback). If I have and you can point me back in that direction, I would greatly appreciate it. I am in the process of purchasing a spa, and received a quote on a new Viking/Destiny River Heritage Spa. Can anyone offer any feedback on this spa? Anything from first hand experience (owner, repair) to dealers. Things I am interested in... Overall Opinion Things Done Well (Stuff you like) Things NOT Done Well (Stuff you dislike/hate) Electricity Consumption Repair costs/frequency Warranty claim stories Repairs needed not covered by warranty If you own(ed) one, did you wet test it first? Have you owned or worked on other spas? What are they, did you like them better? Thank you for your time.
