  1. I own an Artesian Kona Elite hot tub. It has two 5HP pumps and the following filters: • Pleatco PAS50SV-F2M (large) • Artesian Spas 06-0052-12 (small) The situation I am contending with is balancing the filtration times, foaming and the water temperature. With long filtration cycle times I have no foam but the hot tub water becomes excessively hot (set at 104°F but 107°F actual temperature). With short filtration cycles I have steady temperatures...but the foam quickly returns. Example: Filtering essentially 24 hours/day results in no foam, but the water temperature sta
  2. I have a second hand hot tub that I received as a gift and we got it running a couple months ago. We have had some issues lately. It was running fine for about a month until the control panel began showing only a blinking “ready” and blinking “power.” The jets and light work fine but the temperature began to drop and after some research I assumed it must be the temp sensor. My boyfriend replaced that for me yesterday and at the time the water was warm, but not hot. After 24 hours it is starting to drop in temperature and isn’t nearly as warm. Now the screen is just blinking “ready.” I tried tu
  3. I have a 2000 Sweetwater Palermo spa. The water temperature is 3 degrees lower than the digital readout on the display on my control panel. (the temperature from a thermometer of the water reads 97 degrees but the display reads 100). I have a new heater, new filter and recently changed the water. I've had this spa since 2000 and am very familiar with how it heats and this is really not normal for the spa. Any clues what the issue might be? Sensor, topside control panel, etc.? Thanks.
  4. Any suggestions how to resolve a non responding temperature heat button on a Sundance Caprio? - I found the spa set at 40 deg C (104 F). I turned it down to 34 deg C (93 F) as it was not being used. Some days later when we sought to turn it up to 37 deg and the heat button did not respond in any way. The cool button responds and I was able to reduce the display temperature to 18 deg C (64 F) which was strange as it always stopped at a minimum of some 33 deg C. I cannot raise the temperature display from 18 which it reads when the cool button is pressed only. The little red light is inactive a
  5. Hi guys, this is my first post, but I wonder if anybody could help me. I have a Chines hot tub. When I switched it on a few weeks ago the temperature reading said 40 degrees C, but the water was actually 16 degrees C. I renewed the temperature sensor but the problem remained. I have today replaced the PCB with a new one (as I was told it could only be one of these two things!). Now I have an "FF" error code. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Dave
  6. I have a natural gas lrz heater that is reading the wrong temp. Reads 93 when water is 80 ish, it turns on if I set the dial higher than 93 but its getting worse so I would like to fix it. Should I just replace the temp sensor or can I clean it or someething? Or is it another issue entirely? Thanks a lot
  7. Hello, I have a Island Spa Grand Bahama 54 jet made by Artesian from 2003. A year ago I had to change out the main control panel with a new one made by Gecko. SInce then My water temperature is not as hot as the top panel says it is. Just to test it I set the temperature on top panel to 102 degrees and left it all night. Next day I tested the water with 3 differant thermometers and they all read betwee 97 and 96 degrees. I have read that I should test the temperature probe. How do I get to it. I dont want to force that little cover thing off it because I don't know if I am suppose to. ALso I
  8. The Story behind the tub. i purchased a balboa hot tub from a spa company in my city and this tub is a 1998. when i first set everything up they forgot to send me the pump so when i called them they couldnt find it and gave me a brand new ultra jet pump. when i wired everything up the lite leader board wasnt putting out the right voltage so i had to get it replaced. once i finally had everything said and done the problem im having is the following When i wired the pump up the diagram on the lite leader showed brn blu and blk going to pump as high low and common. and the wires that i have fo
  9. Just recently purchased a Used 05 Artesian Antigua Spa. When I started up tub (a few days ago) the water temp has been stuck on 95 the entire time. U can adjust the water tempature and the other night when it was aabout 55 out I had tub at 95 and tub was about 106 next day set at 85 had temp at 95 now it is 45 out and water temperature is 85 no matter what I set tempature too. Im assumming heater is fine and that my issue is with a limit, relay, thermostat, or contol board. Someone that can lead me in the right direction would appretiated. Thank you for your time.
