  1. I have a 2003 Catalina spa. After a power outage, the spa keeps giving the OHH error code. When I flip the breaker, wait a few minutes, then flip on, the spa goes into prime mode, but within a few minutes throws the OHH code again and shuts down. The water is cool, so I know it's not truly overheating. I have replaced the M7 sensors as that was the first issue after power was restored. I found that one of the sensors had gone out. I've checked the flow and it is good. Another article I read here mentions a diode being bad on the circuit board. How do I locate and repair this diode?
  2. I have an older (2003) Sundance Altamar 880 spa, which are going into protect mode (watch dog error, four dashes). I can reset the error by turning of the power with the circuit breakers, but the error reappear after some time. As long as the water is cold, the massage pumps operate and the error stays away, but as soon as the water is warm enough for the massage pumps to stop, the error appears. The display also shows the "OH" (overheat) error briefly before going into protection mode. I have removed the cover in front of the heater, and it is very hot to touch. I don't know if this is n
  3. Thanks for reading. I'll cut to the chase as to not waste anybody's time who is kind enough to read this post. I'm having actually 3 issues with my hot tub and I believe they are all related. So if I can pinpoint the cause then I may possibly be able to kill 3 birds with one stone. The spa is a Sundance Optima, I believe year 2000. My first issue: I lose power to the hot tub sporadically. The GFI breaker does NOT trip. I am losing power somewhere in the hot tub itself. I have tested the panel on the spa itself while it has shut off on me and there is power to the panel. all fuse
  4. Hi Everyone, I just joined the community here looking for some help with my hottub which started acting weird. I *think* I mostly likely need a new pump, but I figured I'd post and get some opinions first. It's a 2010 and the spa was made by a company called Strong Spas. It has a Balboa Revolution (TP600) control system and a Water Way pump (model # PV-30-2N22C). I don’t know much more than that as the tub came with the house. Anyway, it’s worked fine for the last 3 years that we’ve had it. Today we went to use it and when I opened the cover the low power jets were running, I figured it was
  5. Please help. I have a spa crest hot tub. We have recently replaced the circ pump, and entire balboa box with circuit board and heating element etc. Circ pump is 24 hour continuous but kicks off when jets 1 is turned on causing dry and overheat error codes. The circ pump will continue to run simultaneously with jets 2. Im at the end of my troubleshooting skills. Any advice will be much appreciated!
  6. Acquired a Jacuzzi Santina hot tub when I purchased a home about a year ago. Just started getting an overheat (OH) error; unit had been working properly before (so far as I know). It has been hot outside lately (around 90 or so), but I am surprised that this is happening all of a sudden. The water is definitely hotter than it's ever been before, and it's set low (around 95). Pump and heater were supposedly replaced about 2 years ago. I tried swapping the filter, but waterflow seemed fine (the "Water Rainbow" and jets seem to have usual power). Issue persisted with a clean filter. Is
