  1. Hello all, I replied to another thread about this topic but figured I should start my own. I bought a used 2011 J470 with known leaks. When I gently pour water down the center IX jet from a glass I get water leaking out of the hose which the LED ribbon cable is ran through. It will take me a few days to flip this up and get at the underside. Given where the water comes out, should I go ahead and order the new jet now while I work on getting the tub upright? OR is there a chance this is fixable without the new jet? I heard repair with silicone from the top side is possible sometimes but I fault appears to be internal in the jet? I assume trying to plug up that hose with silicone will do nothing and the water will then just be forced out elsewhere, is that correct? Also I see there are 2 part numbers for this jet, the old one with the ribbon cable (as mine is) and a replacement jet (with a round DIN connector). Is the newer style better and I should make sure to get that and order the DIN to ribbon cable adaptor with it, or should I order the original with the ribbon cable? Is there anything else I should be ordering as well for this repair? Thanks in advance for any info. I will be sure to post updates so you can see how this repair goes!
