  1. my 6 year old LAARS 400000BTU heater is on its last legs from excessiving internal leaking --another story---but, its leaked from the upper manifolds for years-- i think from simply poor manufactuing-- there is a ton of rust on her. While I may take it offline this summer, ,and try to rebuild it (-- as a project-- learining to weld new plates on the cumbustrion chamber-and replace parts that maike $ sense. -etc..) , I will consider also consider buying another model. Any recommendations -- simply put, I have a 2Kgal large poo in NNJ, and-- I get a ton of sun -- and I think mynext model does not need to be so big-- my larger concern is "spot"heating the attached hot tub-- do I really need 400000BTU's? I found this last model may have been too much -- I am keeping in consideration a roof solar system to offset teh gas heater-- my roof sees 10 hours of sun a day and there is not much head pressure for the pump .. Any thoughts? Any good resources for me to start looking,?
