  1. I am looking for the documentation that details the main control board jumpers J1 to J12 on the Hot Springs IQ2020 motherboard. What I want to know is what each jumper controls. Anyone have such doc they could share? Thanks Much Grumpy
  2. Hello all! First time poster but long time follower. Recently had a power outage and when power resumed, I noticed my hot tub started dropping temp even though all signs pointed to go. Turns put relay board was fried..not sure if it was a coincidence but regardless I replaced it (IQ2020) and hooked everything up exactly the same (minus the obvious changes in the new 2 relay board vs the old 3). D9 flashes repeatedly. Figured new board was bad (my luck) so replaced again..same thing. The only way I can get D9 to stop flashing is taking off the jumped pressure switch (replaced heater a few years ago and had to be jumped permanently due to new model). Obviously now I'm getting the flashing red and green lights on the display because I took the pressure jump off. Question is..could my jump be "bad"? I ordered an actual replacement jump (as opposed to the current crossed wires and tape method) but I'm not even sure that will fix the problem because I can't find anything on the WWW about bad jumps, just bad pressure switches in general. Thanks in advance for any advice!
  3. 2010 Hot Springs Sovereign II, ll1M2085, with new IQ2020 Eagle Control Box Not heating and I don't think the circulation pump is operating. Flashing Power/Ready lights on the control panel. Open the Control Box pictured below, left to right: 1. D21 Red led light is on; 2. PWR ON led is green and flashing 3. LIMIT OK led is lit sold green Cleaned filters, checked for airlocks. Pulled the water lines off both the heater and the circ. pump and water is flowing. Did this to remove any airlock and check for an junk jammed in the pump. Seemed fine. Feeling the circulation pump it doesn't appear to be running, I would expect a slight humm and no water movement in the tub. Do these led light indicators tell a story of a bad circulation pump? How do I do a double check on the circulation pump to make sure it's the problem or an unfixable problem before buying a new one? Here's a picture of the Control Box.
  4. This looks like a lovely forum. Recently found my Hot Springs Jetsetter Spa dead with a burn mark on the back of the IQ2020 heater relay board. After a conversation with Watkins I purchased a Whole new IQ2020 controller, only to find that I would need to replace the upper controller head and do some other things to make it work. Yuck. Bottom line - sending it back (even though it seemed like a bargain @ $350 for the entire controller). Now I’m wondering - is the main controller board really bad? Saw some discoloration on the main board where the hot wire comes in so assumed it was bad. Is there a way to check the main board to check it’s basic functionality, so I don’t fry the future new heater relay board or anything else?
  5. Hello, I have a 2012 Hot Springs Jet Setter Model JJ SN JJ1P2197 that has a safety protection mode on. The water level is okay. The filters are okay. I have removed the stand pipe filter and mineral tablet out of it. It originally had a bad IQ2020 main board. The old part number was a Watkins PN 1315101. I ordered a new control board for it (watkins 76998). The circulation pump kicked on at first flipping the breaker then stopped after a few seconds. The controller panel only works with some functions. No jet pumps or circulation pump. No heater. I took a new plunger to the water return to get any air locks out. There is a red light on the board that has control unplugged beside the light that is red. The lim light is on solid with a green glow. The BUS status light is blinking green about every 5-7 seconds. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Hello, I have an IQ 2020 control board that I am trying to replace for my Watkins Prodigy hot tub. My current IQ 2020 has the label that reads Watkins PN: 0974201 REV C. I found an IQ 2020 control board with PN: 1302501 REV F. Does anyone know what the difference is between these two IQ 2020's and will both work on my hot tub???
