  1. I got my hot tub all hooked up recently and fixed up. No matter what I try it will not heat up. I tested all the fuses and relays they all work I replaced the the heating element just to rule it out the old one and the new one get 240 volts but wont heat at all. The heat light is on the control panel telling it to heat and the voltage power is making it all the way to the heater element but it just wont heat at all. im stumped on why it wont heat all the tests say its working but it just wont do anything. The pump and blower work great and all the relays click when you hit a button. the temp sensors all work saying the current temperature.
  2. I was given this Coleman Saluspa from a family member that used it for a while without issue. I went over the directions, set up as recommended, and it worked for several days without issue. I will say that I did use an underrated extension cord and the pump/ heating unit was in direct sun at the time (I didn't know any better at the time). One morning when I went out to the tub it was turned off. When I turned it back on by resetting the GFCI plug I got an "E04" code. I researched it and understood that the tub/ heating unit must have over heated due to direct sunlight. I let it cool, made sure the heating element was shaded but not covered directly. I also noticed the GFCI plug prong looked a little toasted (didn't notice prior to setting up) so I replaced the GFCI plug and got an appropriately gauged power cord. NOW the thermometer on the unit says the water is 99 degrees Fahrenheit yet the water is cool to the touch. The thermostat reading rises rapidly and when it exceeds 104 degrees I get another "E04" code. Where should I go from here?
  3. I'm a new hot tub user and for about a week now I've been having an issue of just above 0ppm bromine levels, my pH and TA are completely fine and in the correct range although the bromine is next to nothing, I have a Sundance Optima 880 and I tried using the Brominator and a floating dispenser both together and one at a time and neither has fixed my issue and now just yesterday when the jets are on the hot tub starts to create foam. During the refilling stage I used infused bromine granules as I heard this is something you're supposed to use to boost the bromine upon refill, this worked and I had high bromine levels although they naturally ended up dropping. I've tried, refilling the water, using non-chlorine shock treatment, cleaning the filter with a filter cleaner hose attachment
  4. I have a second hand hot tub that I received as a gift and we got it running a couple months ago. We have had some issues lately. It was running fine for about a month until the control panel began showing only a blinking “ready” and blinking “power.” The jets and light work fine but the temperature began to drop and after some research I assumed it must be the temp sensor. My boyfriend replaced that for me yesterday and at the time the water was warm, but not hot. After 24 hours it is starting to drop in temperature and isn’t nearly as warm. Now the screen is just blinking “ready.” I tried turning the power off at the breaker and turning it back on and it starts up fine and screen looks normal but then after about 10 seconds something clicks and the screen just goes back to blinking “ready.” It’s in the 30’s here in NH and expecting snow soon, so hoping to fix it before conditions get worse! But not sure what else it could be! Water level is over the jets... is there something else we can do? Maybe an issue with the part replacement? Thanks in advance for any advice or help!!
  5. Hi Iam new here. I bought a used spa. First it looked all ok. All pumps worked and also the heater does his work. But water runs out. So I started to repair it. All work was ok till yesterday. My wife puts on the pool without knowing it was dry. All pumps run dry for 12h. Now I think the seals are damaged. I started to look for seals for the jetpump. But I found no spate parts anywhere. I really hope to get help here. It's a Amber Pacific hot tub 2002. It has 2 Jetpumps. Excuse my English. Iam from Germany. Thanks for your help Andi
