TA started at 160. Ran a 1/2 hp pump on the steps for 4 hours the first day. TA was lower to 150; OK slow but steady progress. Next day ran for 7 hours and no change, still 150. Yesterday ran for 8 hours and TA was measured at 170! I keep pool covered at night to keep in heat. Only change was that Ph went from 6.8 to 7.2. Has anybody used this method with any results and how long did it take? Pool is 25,000 gal. and is kept at 85 degrees. thanks
